Sand Spreading

Many thanks to all Stonebridge members who helped spread an enormous 20 ton of sand recently, it makes such a difference to the ground and means we can continue training during winter when other training fields are flooded.

Many hands made light work and left plenty of time to enjoy a lovely BBQ after.

Welcome Penny

Welcome to Anita's gorgeous new puppy.

Undercover at Stonebridge

We now have a fantastic new shelter at Stonebridge, keeping us dry in the rain and shaded in the sun!

Great Success for the Tuesday Invitation Class

The Tuesday morning invitation class is proving a great success! There are six of us and the class runs for 2 hours, including a break for coffee & cake.  Mandysu multi tasks and runs her dog as well, seeing her run her dogs brings another dimension to the great training.  Results speak for themselves, we were competing at  RVA and Orchard Agility last week, and had an amazing total of eight 1st three 2nd & one 3rd, moving Katherine and Ted up to grade 6 & Ann and Tara to grade 5.  Not a bad start to the season!  See the results page for full details.

Well done Mel & Zanzi on winning the Agility Club Starters Final.

Well Done Stonebridge Ring Party

Huge thanks to all those members who worked on the ring at Colchester on Saturday. Ian Watts Photography has posted the following on Facebook -

"Yvette Dumont, you are a hero!!!! As are all the Stonebridge Ring Party, led by Mandy-sue Sarti, I believe? I haven't counted how many dogs actually ran in your G3-4 Agility class on Saturday, at Colchester, but my estimate from the number of photos I took, per dog, is in excess of 150 (out of 171 entered)... First dog started at 12:02 exactly - last dog crossed the finish line just before 13:24!!!!! So that is around 32 seconds, per dog, in an AGILITY class - with all 3 contacts, tyre, tunnel and weaves (albeit only 6) and 19 obstacles in total!!!! That's not even the course time!!!
(Edited to draw attention to the correction in my first comment below - it was actually 14:24 that the class finished, so 55 seconds per dog)

Well done we all deserve a pat on the back!

Stonebridge Ring Party

Stonebridge are providing Ring Party at the following local shows :
Burnham – Sat. 13th September
Five Rivers – Sat 20th September

We need the help of as many members as possible to ensure the smooth running of the ring, so whatever time you can give would be greatly appreciated.  If you’ve never been to a show or helped at a show it’s a great way to get to know people, the jobs will be explained, and plenty of time left for running your dogs, or just enjoying the show!

Please let Mandysu know if you can help.

Pauline & Dolly pulled out all the stops at Axstane on Saturday, had a fantastic clear round in Jumping combined 1-2 with a time of 32.682 winning an 11 thplace.

Show Season

The show season is back in full flow and the number of shows available allows for even more choice - there is a list of a few of them on the diary dates page you may be interested in. There are also already some great results acheived - for full details please check out the Clubs Results page.  If you have any results or pictures of your dogs showing off their rosettes, please email Mandysu via the contact us page.

Senior League

Calling all Stonebridge members who are 55 years or older!

There is still time to enter the 2017 Agilitynet Senior Agility League. It's just a bit of fun and free to enter. And there are some fabulous rosettes for the winners at the end of the year.

The summer is still young and there's everything to play for. All points earned at a KC, UKA or independent show count provided they come with a rosette and/or trophy.

This year they have added an Allsorts category for the more mature dog.

Anyone interested should register at http://agilitynet.co.uk/Senior%20Agility%20League/intropage.html

Our May Agility Show 19th, 20th & 21st May

The Animal Health Company will be continuing it's sponsorship of their classic qualifiers with heats around the country. Stonebridge are happy to announce that our May 2017 show will be holding one of the heats for small, medium and large dogs.
