I have been training and competeing in agility for approx 16-17 years with 4 different dogs, all border collies/WSDs and have also had an active part to play in training my husband's labrador retriever for agility, enbling them to both enjoy the sport.

My first border collie, Shep, was trained in agility and competed with me for many years, however he was a far better candidate for obedience than agility, never wanting to leave my side, so we never progressed far in the placings, but we had a lot of fun and a fantastic bond.  With my second dog, Ozzy, I advanced from Elementary to Intermediate (now Grade 1 to 5) before having to retire him at only 5 yrs old due to injury.  I currently have 2 dogs (a border collie and WSD).  With my youngest dog (Jed) i have qualified for, and competed in the Novice Olympia Grand Finals in 2012 and the UKA CSJ Grand Prix Finals, also in 2012.  Jed currently competes at Grade 6.  My other dog Meg is a real challenge, and tends to come along to agility for the socilaisation and fun, rather than as a serious comeptitor.  As a resucue dog that i took on at 4 yrs old, Meg has a number of issues, but is a very loving dog that has taught me a lot about patience in dog training!  My husband has a young labrador retriever, and together we have trained her for agility and she is now in her first season of competing, gaining a number of high places in Grade 1 and with a lot of potential for the future.

In addition to training my own dogs, i have also previously taught agility for approx 2-3 yrs at K9 Sports agility club in Cambridgeshire, before moving to Essex.

I am a KC Accredited Approved judge.
